Today’s quotations on the Danish stock exchange ended with an increase in the prices of weaner pigs by another 20 crowns. Converted into Polish zlotys, the price of a negative PRRS weaner reached PLN 400/piece.
Today’s listing on the Danish Weaning Stock Exchange brought an increase of another CZK 20. The series of increases that began in January resulted in an increase in the price of animals by nearly 100 crowns (i.e. over PLN 50 in our currency).
According to today’s quotations, a weaner with a negative PRRS status costs CZK 690, a PRRS positive weaner CZK 680, and a conventional weaner CZK 655.
Converted into Polish zloty, the prices of Danish weaners are as follows:
- Positive PRRS: PLN 400/pcs. (compared to PLN 388/piece a week ago)
- PRRS negative: PLN 395/pcs. (compared to PLN 382/piece a week ago)
- Conventional: PLN 380/pcs. (compared to PLN 367/piece a week ago).
The current Danish krone exchange rate was used in the calculation: 1 DKK=0.58 PLN.
These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.
Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
