ARiMR signaled the possibility of applying for financial assistance in the form of preferential loans.

February 22, 2024 on the online application platform The Agency has made available to cooperating banks lending limits for 2024 and funds for interest subsidies on loans to maintain financial liquidity in order to improve financial liquidity in connection with restrictions on the agricultural market caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (UP line).

At the same time, the Agency made it available to cooperating banks in 2023 r. additional resources for interest subsidies on loans to finance part of investment costs, loans for resuming production after natural disasters, loans with partial repayment of capital for the purchase of agricultural land by young farmers.

The total funds limits made available will be:

Loans to maintain financial liquidity in order to improve financial liquidity in connection with restrictions on the agricultural market caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (UP line).

  • lending limit of PLN 2.9 billion,
  • funds in the amount of PLN 150 million for interest subsidies on the above-mentioned loans.

Loans to finance part of the investment costs (PR, RR, Z lines)

  • lending limit of PLN 500 million,
  • funds in the amount of PLN 5 million for interest subsidies on the above-mentioned loans.

Loans for resuming production after natural disasters (from lines K01, K02)

  • lending limit of PLN 100 million,
  • funds in the amount of PLN 5 million for interest subsidies on the above-mentioned loans.

Loans for restarting pig production stopped due to ASF (from the KPS line)

  • lending limit of PLN 10 million,
  • funds in the amount of PLN 100,000 PLN for interest subsidies on the above-mentioned loans.

Loans with partial capital repayment for the purchase of agricultural land by young farmers (from the MRcsk line)

  • funds in the amount of PLN 4 million for subsidies to the above-mentioned loans.

Will blocking the borders with Ukraine and rejecting the Green Deal solve the problems of Polish agriculture?

Farmers can apply for a loan from these banks:

  • SGB-Bank SA and associated Cooperative Banks
  • Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości SA and associated Cooperative Banks
  • Cooperative Bank in Brodnica
  • Krakowski Bank Spółdzielczy
  • BNP Paribas Bank Polska SA
  • Santander Bank Polska SA
  • Credit Agricole Bank Polska SA
  • Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA

Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: Guarantees for investment and working capital loans and interest rate subsidies will be launched in the second quarter of 2024
