Video is a big business. Short form videos that can be found on TikTok or Facebook and Instagram Reels dominate what we see on social media today. But it’s not time to discount YouTube! YouTube still has a big impact today, as it remains the second most popular social media network in the world, receiving 2.7 billion users every month. Just like other social media platforms, there’s room for agriculture on YouTube.

Here are the top 10 ag YouTubers that you should subscribe to now:

1. Millennial Farmer

The Millennial Farmer is otherwise known as Zach Johnson, a fifth-generation farmer from west central Minnesota. Zach makes videos about daily life on his family farm. With over 1 million subscribers, Zach’s content serves as a great resource to other farmers and starts a conversation about farming with the public.

2. Peterson Farm Bros.

Brothers Greg, Nathan, and Kendal make up the Peterson Farm Bros. The brothers are best known for their entertaining agricultural parodies of popular songs, but they also make videos sharing what life is like on their fifth-generation family farm in Kansas.

3. This Farm Wife – Meredith Bernard

Meredith quit her corporate sales job to come home to the farm, where she now raises her two children, farms alongside her husband, raises cattle, and shares her story on YouTube. Her videos show daily life on her North Carolina farm, including calving season, baling hay, harvest time, and more.

4. How Farms Work

This channel is run by Ryan Kuster, a farmer who showcases life on his family’s farms in Wisconsin. Just like the name, Ryan teaches people how farms work, from a general overview of farming all the way to different farming techniques and how to operate equipment.

5. Welker Farms

Bob Welker, a third-generation farmer, and his sons, Nick and Scott, share stories of farm life on their Montana farm. They make videos about farming equipment, harvest and seeding, and they like to keep it real, even showing what happens when their equipment gets stuck in the mud.

6. Our Wyoming Life

Our Wyoming Life follows Mike and Erin Galloway. Over a decade ago, Mike and Erin left their corporate jobs to help on Erin’s stepfather’s cattle ranch in Wyoming. Their channel shares their story of raising a family on a ranch and follows their day to day work on a cattle ranch, from weaning calves to cleaning pens to baling hay and everything in between.

7. Cole the Cornstar

Cole is a fourth-generation family farmer in Iowa who shares what life on his farm is like and his progress on the many projects he takes on. He tests new equipment, talks about farm finances, and covers what a day in his life is like. Cole has over half a million subscribers and works to show people what it’s really like to feed the world.

8. Nyfarmgirls

The NY Farm Girls are otherwise known as Evelyn, Claudia, and Jojo, three sisters from upstate New York. They make videos about life on their family’s 1,200-head dairy and 2,100-acre crop farm. They also talk about what it’s like to be a young farmer and women in ag.

9. Farmer Derek

Farmer Derek brings the fun to agriculture with videos from his Kansas farm. Derek is probably best known for serenading his cows with a trombone, creating farm parodies of popular music, and doing other fun things like making “cow art” and trying fishing with a drone.

10. WT Farm Girl

Follow along with Suzanne, a first-generation farmer and former city girl. She farms alongside her husband and serves as the primary operator of their farm, where they bale hay, produce maple syrup, grow Christmas trees, and have a variety of animals. Suzanne is always trying something new and documenting it through her videos.

Michelle Miller, the “Farm Babe,” is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, writer, and social media influencer and travels full time to advocate for agriculture. She comes from an Iowa-based row crop and livestock farming background and now resides on a timber farm in North Central Florida.
